Reminiscing on Open Studios Utrecht 2025 (Thank you!)

I loved hearing what my work evokes for different people, meeting online friends in person for the first time, and talking grief and creative process (the joys and the frustrations!) with poets, musicians, art therapists, fellow artists, and art-lovers.

I loved sharing my Delight Practice and seeing folks relaxing and enjoying creating their own little scrappy Delight Collages.

I loved having children visiting and busily making art and excitedly sharing what delights them. (Gosh, if only I had more time, I’d love to be offering art classes for children again!)

And it felt so good to share the stories behind the artworks and witness the ways that other people resonate with them. We’re all so connected.
