TOPOPHILIA: Landscapes of Belonging - Solo Exhibition at Sijthoff Cultuur, Leiden (Nov/ Dec 2026)

Cath Duncan's mixed-media abstract landscapes explore how we re-create our sense of belonging after loss. Working in layers of paint and recycled papers, she draws on the textures and wisdoms of the natural world and poetry to map these inner landscapes. Each artwork is accompanied by a written narrative and reflective questions, inviting viewers into a dialogue between art, story, poetry, and personal reflection.

Exhibition dates: 14 November – 6 December

Open hours: Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., unless an activity is taking place in the hall. Entrance to the exhibition is free.
